Wikipedia says,
"Procrastination is the action of unnecessarily and voluntarily delaying or postponing something despite knowing that there will be negative consequences for doing so." (ref)

I have thought about it a lot of times. Almost daily... I had at least one thought of writing down jotting my thoughts, notes, and learnings, or implementing that idea I had. But my procrastination and this behaviour of wanting everything to be perfect to its core - always ate everything.

And lately, this is happening a lot - like a lot-lot and it's not just with the writing. I'm facing it with almost every second thing, I want to do. Dated: July 6th, 2022

And it is not that I haven't had any good habits developed or maintained. I had maintained a streak of more than 100 days to solve a coding problem daily and had also maintained a jogging streak for almost a year with a few days on-off in between, to name some. Even had a reading habit where I read at least 4 pages daily - at any cost. But...

...the point is nothing sticks

Currently, I am having a streak of two hundred and thirty-seven days (237 days) in the Cryptogram Puzzle game, with a total of three hundred and seven (307) solved puzzles to the date, and a Wordle streak of almost two hundred and seventy-eight days (278 days) till today, started it on January 23, 2022, with Wordle 218. Now, I don't know how long will it continues. Upd. October 28, 2022

And I do want to have other good habits - like the reading habit is completely left out for almost a year now. And writing - which I have never successfully implemented for more than a week in past. I want to change all this...

...and as they say,
"any change needs to start from somewhere,
and that somewhere needs to be from within yourself,
and it needs to be today"

And this is my change - at least for today, July 6th 2022 - Day 1.

But, this writing streak didn't stick for more than 10 days, and I am coming to it after almost 70 days, while still being too sleepy and thinking of moving it to the next day πŸ˜ͺ

In-between, I have also tried the newsletter thing, but that also failed, could only manage to make two nuisance posts.

And I guess, tonight also procrastination is going to win because it's definitely going to be the next day... Until that next day comes, Goodbye and Take care πŸ‘‹ – September 25th 2022 – Day 0
